Damian Casey Obituary
Damian Casey was an Irish hurler who played for the Eoghan Ruadh club in Dungannon as well as the Tyrone county side. Casey was recognized as his county’s finest ever thrower and died “at the pinnacle of his skills.” He was a full-fledged forward. At the senior level, he scored in every game for Tyrone. He was a former county captain who led his county to its first Nicky Rackard Cup triumph when he was 21 years old in 2014. In what was his last game for his county, he won the Nicky Rackard Cup again in 2022, soon before his death.
